Privacy model

What stays on your device

Available PDFNova tools process document contents in your browser. The application does not send PDFs to a PDFNova server or persist document bytes on a remote filesystem.

Document data

Uploaded bytes, filenames, extracted text, document metadata, and passwords are not written to browser storage, analytics, logs, or source control. Temporary object URLs are released when you reset or leave a workflow.

Local usage limits

The free completion counter is stored locally in your browser. It is not secure or bypass-proof and may reset when browser data is cleared.

Advertising and cookies

Selected discovery pages may display clearly labelled advertising. When advertising consent permits it, an advertising provider may receive the public page URL and ordinary browser information.

Advertising services may use cookies or similar technologies when consent permits.

Refusing personalised advertising does not disable PDFNova tools. Document contents, filenames, paths, extracted text, metadata, passwords, selected pages, watermark text, generated output, and document-derived errors are not supplied to advertising providers.

Analytics

When enabled, analytics records product interactions—not filenames, PDF contents, extracted text, document metadata, or passwords.
